The video of Pradeep Mehra, 19, who lives in Noida, is becoming increasingly viral on social media. He goes home every night after running 10 kms. On reaching there, he cooks food for the elder brother and again in the morning goes to work at McDonald’s. His mission is to go to Indian Army. At night when the shift is over, he runs to his home 10 km away every day.

The name of the creator of this video is Vinod Kapri, who is a film maker. He was going home by car at 12 o’clock in the night, during this time his eyes fell on a running boy, who was running at high speed with a bag on his shoulder. Kapri offered to drop him home by car, but he refused to take the lift.

Pradeep Mehra got the answer from the army

On Pradeep’s video, the former army officer has talked about the arrangements for his training. Retired Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain tweeted that Colonel Lt Gen RP Kalita of Kumaon Regiment has asked to give Pradeep Mehra a chance to participate in the recruitment process.

For recruitment in the army, Lieutenant General Satish Dua of the Indian Army has assured Pradeep’s help. He tweeted and wrote, Pradeep’s enthusiasm is commendable. I have spoken to Lt Gen Rana Kalita, Colonel of the Kumaon Regiment, Eastern Army Commander, to help him pass the recruitment test on the basis of his merit. He is making every effort to train the boy for recruitment in his regiment.

Former Uttarakhand minister and Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi has also appreciated Pradeep Mehra’s spirit. He said, Pradeep has my blessings that he will definitely join the army. All possible cooperation will also be given in the treatment of his mother.
