Jasprit Bumrah, who did not play in the series against West Indies, made a great comeback in international cricket. He took a total of 10 wickets in two test matches. Bumrah did not perform well in the first test, but he wreaked havoc in the second match. He took five wickets in the first innings and three wickets in the second innings.

Hanuma Vihari fails in place of Cheteshwar Pujara:
